Rosneft says discovers Zapadno-Dolgovskoye field near Orenburg
MOSCOW, Jan 27 (PRIME) -- Orenburgneft, a subsidiary of Russian oil major Rosneft, has discovered a Zapadno-Dolgovskoye field near the city of Orenburg with the initial recoverable reserves of oil exceeding 7 million tonnes under the C1 and C2 categories, Rosneft said in a statement on Monday.
The field is located within the Buzuluk license site, where the company conducted 3D seismic exploration on an area of about 1,800 square kilometers. The company will drill two more exploratory wells and 25 production wells in the future, Rosneft said.
